| Similar to Drepanostachyum sengteeanum except the culms are dark green and leavesare a smoky green. This bamboo flowered in 2006 after D. sengteeanum. The plant wasbrought into the country by our dear friend Gerald Bol, who cultivated it from seed. Ithas grown to about 7′ tall here in the North Bay. It likes morning sun or dappled light.Definitely needs afternoon shade where it gets over 80 degrees F. | |||||||||||
